A 10-year-old boy was playing with his mother near the Dong River in Héyuán, Guangdong Province, China, who accidentally discovered a fossil egg.

Specialists transported the eggs to the local Héyuán Dinosaur Museum for study. According to them, these dinosaur eggs are 66 million years old. These fossils are from the Cretaceous era, said Huang Ding, formerly director of the local Heyuan Museum. It was just before the extinction of the dinosaurs, about 65 million years ago.
