Explorers and archaeologists have stated that they have found a 6000 years old forgotten castles in Lake Van, Turkey. Many people say the discovery of the castle inside Lake Van is like a miracle. Because it really seems unlikely to discover such a castle. How is it possible that an old castle still remains in the lake and can still be found in the dark waters of Lake Van ?! Where no one comes to mind and no one comes to discover there to find ancient treasures or ancient cities or ancient castles.

During excavations, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University sent divers into the deep waters to locate the castle within Lake Van. The divers were able to survey the entire structure of the castle and bring the necessary samples with them out of the water. Researchers and historians have also come up with speculations about the history of the castle. They say that the castle inside Lake Van belongs to an ancient civilization called the Urartu, who lived in the Anatolian land in the Iron Age about 3000 years ago
