Moghaddam s house belongs to Dr. Mohsen Moghaddam, professor of archeology at the University of Tehran and his French wife, Selma. The couple were enthusiastically collecting historical monuments from all over Iran. And they used them in the architecture and decoration of their home, which still makes this museum so beautiful over the years.

Mohsen Moghaddam, who taught painting, history and art. He was the one who designed the University of Tehran badge and received an Legion Degree Badge from the French President Charles de Gaulle. From watching home appliances It is clear that he was particularly interested in Iranian art and history. The architecture of the building has little French design because of the French wife of Dr. Moghaddam. Moghadam house and museum area is ۲۱۱۷ m2 with three courtyards, an interior, a greenhouse, a marsh, a swimming pool and a caretaker.

The Moghadam Greenhouse is located in the northern part of the building, which is beautifully decorated with old glazed tiles. The pond in the museum is known as the Japanese Pond. At that time, Dr. Moghadam and his wife drew inspiration from Japanese gardens and ponds.
