Ancient Roman civilization was formed from the 8th century BC on the Italian Peninsula. It was spread beside the Mediterranean Sea with capital city of Rome. In the first and second centuries, ancient Rome became one of the greatest ancient empires

In the year 72, the Emperor named Titus in the eastern part of Rome completed and constructed the magnificent monument that his father had begun. The building we know today is called the Colosseum

Colosseum is one of the world's top tourist attractions in Italy and the largest castle in Rome. It has an architectural, engineering, and also a very fascinating past that has now become a symbol for Italy and Rome. Christians were still harassed by the Roman emperors until the emperor named Constantine entered the war in 312 with 40,000 troops with Maxentius. Constantine believed that his triumph over Maxentius was the sign of the unceasing help of Jesus Christ. During his reign, he stopped chastising Christians.    He banned the Mithraism, which was the main religion of Rome, and chose Christianity as the official religion of the empire.

It is interesting to note that Mitra or Mithraism, the god of ancient Persia and the oldest religion, were later expanded to other parts of the world.
